Capt. Rodney’s Famous Chicken Dip
🔥 Captain Rodney’s Famous Chicken Dip – bbQ & MORE Style
Featuring Doe’s or Good Shit Seasoning, Captain Rodney’s Glaze, and the power of the Finamill!
Ingredients:
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup mayonnaise or sour cream
• 1½ cups cooked chicken, chopped
• 1 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese (we don’t recommend pre-shredded)
• 2 medium green onions, sliced
• ⅛ tsp ground cayenne pepper (optional)
• ⅛ tsp Doe’s Steak Seasoning or Good Shit Seasoning
• Salt and pepper to taste, freshly ground with your Finamill
• ⅓ cup crushed butter crackers (like Ritz or Tollhouse)
• ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
• ½ cup Captain Rodney’s Boucan Glaze
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F.
2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl (we love using our bbQ & MORE Batter Bowl), combine cream cheese, mayo or sour cream, chicken, cheddar cheese, green onions, cayenne pepper, and your seasoning of choice (Doe’s or Good Shit). Stir until creamy and well blended.
3️⃣ Add salt and pepper to taste using your Finamill for that fresh-ground flavor.
4️⃣ Transfer the mixture to your favorite bbQ & MORE serve ware or enamel baking dish.
5️⃣ Top evenly with crushed crackers and bacon.
6️⃣ Drizzle Captain Rodney’s Boucan Glaze all over the top.
7️⃣ Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
