🧀Cheesy Pizza Dough Rolls
Perfect served with spaghetti or as an appetizer with Pasta House Sauce for dipping!
Made with bbQ & MORE favorites – so easy, so good!
Ingredients
🛒 Available at bbQ & MORE:
• 1 bag Weisenberger Pizza Crust Mix
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, and/or cheddar cheese – I used a combo of all three and added a bit more just because I wanted to use up my fresh grated cheese.
• Bam Bam Dust (a few dashes)
• Italian Seasoning
• Pasta House Pasta Sauce, for dipping
• Butter (for brushing)
• Finamill grinder with salt & pepper pods
• Grated Parmesan or Asiago cheese (optional, but encouraged!)
• Enamelware baking dish (gorgeous & perfect for serving straight from oven to table!)
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Dough
• In a batter bowl, mix Weisenberger Pizza Crust Mix with warm water as directed.
• Stir in cheese.
• Mix and knead until a soft dough forms; let rise at least an hour.
2️⃣ Lightly flour your surface.
• Form dough into a log, about 6–7 inches long.
3️⃣ Season It Up
• Sprinkle with:
– A light dusting of Italian seasoning
– A couple of dashes of Bam Bam Dust for flavor + flair
– A grind of Finamill salt & pepper
• Wrap in Press’n Seal (tight) and refrigerate.
4️⃣ Roll & Slice
• Roll up the dough tightly like a cinnamon roll.
• Slice into 1” to 1.5” pieces.
• Place rolls in a buttered enamelware baking dish, swirl-side up.
5️⃣ Final Touches
• Brush the tops with melted butter using your cookie spatula.
• Let them rise for 20–30 minutes (optional, but great for fluffiness!).
• Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cheesy.
• In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle the tops with more cheese and bake until bubbly.
6️⃣ Serve & Dip
• Serve warm with Pasta House Pasta Sauce (heat it up in your enamel saucepot!).
• Garnish with a pinch of grated Parmesan, if desired.
